Diagnostic study that aimed to develop a profile of a sample of out of school Iraqi refugee children and provide an analysis of barriers and bottlenecks to school inclusion as well as assessing parental decision-making regarding the education of their children within a refugee context. A particular focus of the study included an exploration of parental preference for non-formal education. The study was conducted in the northern Beirut suburbs of Sed el Bouchrieh, Dekwaneh and Jdeideh in Mount Lebanon due to the high concentration of Iraqi refugees living in the area.
