Part of a multidisciplinary team led by Khatib & Alami that developed the Master Plans for three public industrial zones proposed for Lebanon. Research, site analysis and industrial systems and development studies were carried out alongside intensive stakeholder engagement, socio-economic assessments, environmental baseline studies and iterative design procedures to form the three master plans of Baalbek, Tourbol-Kosaya and Deir El Moukhaless-Jleiliye and reach innovative and sustainable novel designs of modern industrial zones for Lebanon. Project included analysis of legislation and benchmark studies of industrial zone management models and drafting a governance model high-level framework to ensure the optimal management and business promotion of the industrial zones.
